You should know how the things you read here are made. This page explains it plainly.

How we research

  • News briefs start from original sources: company announcements, official blogs, and trusted news outlets. Every brief lists its sources at the end.
  • Prices, plans and features in guides come from the tool's own website, with the date they were checked.
  • Rumours and leaks are always labelled as rumours. We say what we know, what we don't know yet, and what to watch.

How AI helps

I use AI tools to help with research, first drafts and fact-checking. AI never publishes anything on its own. Every post is checked against its sources, reviewed for quality, and approved by me before it goes live. Every post also includes my own view, in my own words.

AI-assisted drafts are never copied from other websites, and we never use images taken from other sites.

How I test tools

Reviews and recommendations are based on my own hands-on use of each tool's free plan or free trial. Each guide has a "How I tested" section that says what I did. I don't claim experiences I haven't had.

Independence

Some links earn a commission. A tool's commission never decides whether I recommend it, or how highly. If a tool isn't good, I'll say so, even if it pays well. See the affiliate disclosure.

Images

Images come from official press kits, my own screenshots, or graphics I make myself. Every image has a text description for screen readers.

Corrections

If I get something wrong, I fix it quickly and add a note at the end of the post saying what changed and when. You can report a mistake on the contact page.
