Patoranking World Best Album: A Fusion of Dancehall Excellence with Ludacris and More

Patoranking Fire, has unfurled his much-anticipated fourth studio album, aptly titled “World Best,” on September 7, 2023. This musical masterpiece follows the trail of successful singles like ‘Kolo Kolo,’ featuring the iconic Diamond Platnumz, ‘Abobi,’ and the mesmerizing ‘Tonight,’ featuring the dancehall sensation Popcaan.

However, what sets “World Best” apart from the crowd is its star-studded lineup of collaborators. Patoranking has woven a musical tapestry that spans continents and cultures, bringing together artists like American hip-hop legend Ludacris, Jamaica’s Dancehall maestro Beenie Man, and Kingston’s own music general, Popcaan.

Yet, it’s not just the international giants who make this album shine. Patoranking has skillfully incorporated the talents of his fellow African musicians, including hitmakers Kizz Daniel and Diamond Platnumz, as well as rising stars like Victony, Gyakie, and the British-Nigerian sensation, Zion Foster.

What truly elevates “World Best” is its diverse production, featuring a rich blend of organic instruments and cutting-edge electronic beats. The album boasts a powerhouse team of both emerging and renowned African producers, including Phantom and Kel P from Nigeria, Killertunes from Nigeria, C-Tea from Ghana, Mix Master Garzy from Ghana, and many others.

Several tracks from “World Best” were strategically unveiled over the past year, building anticipation and excitement among fans. Notably, the Diamond Platnumz and Young Willis produced track, “Kolo Kolo,” clinched the Best East Meets West Collaboration award at the recent East Africa Arts Entertainment Awards (EAEA).

Abobi” featuring Nigerian musician Kel P brought a dose of rich melodies to the album, thanks to Kel P’s impressive track record, including contributions to Burna Boy’s historic 2019 album “African Giant.”

During the summer months, Patoranking released “Higher,” a spiritually uplifting track filled with delicate synth chords and captivating percussion. The party anthem “Tonight,” featuring Wande Coal and produced by DJ Breezy, added to the album’s diversity.

The collaborations on “World Best” continue to impress. On “Miracle Baby,” Ludacris and Patoranking reminisce about their humble beginnings and shared journey to stardom. The infectious “Gyal Like You,” featuring Nigerian superstar KizzDaniel, showcases their seamless chemistry over the lively beats crafted by the budding Nigerian producer Killertunes.

“Women of the Year,” featuring Zion Foster, is a sensuous ode to the objects of their affection, set against the backdrop of N2THEA’s mid-tempo Afrobeats sound. Patoranking and the self-proclaimed King of the Dancehall, Beenie Man, pledge their eternal love to their queens in “Amazing Grace,” a heartfelt melody driven by C-Tea, a Ghanaian producer who earned a Grammy for Black Coffee’s “Subconsciously” album in 2022.

“Control Me” sees Patoranking surrendering to the hypnotic rhythms created by Mix Master Garzy and the enchanting vocals of Ghana’s rapidly rising diva, Gyakie.

The album’s standout single, “Babylon,” featuring vocals from Nigeria’s emerging musical talent, Victony, takes listeners on a captivating journey into uncharted musical territory. The renowned Phantom of Nigeria is the genius behind the mesmerizing music that accompanies this track.

In “World Best,” Patoranking has not only delivered a musical masterpiece but also a testament to the power of cross-cultural collaboration. The album’s fusion of native sounds and global influences, combined with its stellar lineup of artists and producers, cements Patoranking’s status as a true luminary in the world of contemporary music.
